Gooseberry – Pixwell
Fruit: Pixwell gooseberries have a sweet and tangy flavor that is slightly less tart than some other gooseberry varieties. They are often eaten fresh or used in jams, jellies, pies, and other culinary applications.
Light: These plants prefer full sun to light shade. They require at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily for optimal fruit production.
Watering: Gooseberry plants need regular watering, especially during dry spells and when the fruit is developing. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.
Height: Pixwell gooseberry plants are typically compact and small, growing to a height of about 0.9 to 1.2 meters. This makes them suitable for smaller gardens and containers.
Temperature: Pixwell gooseberries thrive in a wide range of climates but do best in areas with cool to temperate weather. They can tolerate some cold temperatures and are often grown in regions with cold winters.
